Grenada’s prime minister will announce election date on October 4

According to Caribbean Life, Grenadians will learn about their elections date at a major rally on Oct. 4. Speaking at a governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) mini rally at the weekend, Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell said he would unveil the date next Sunday, even as the main opposition New National Party (NNP) says it is organizing to displace the government after its current single term. “We will be blowing the conch shell in St. Mark on October 4th,” Mitchell told the rally. “Thank you very much.
