Residents of St. Thomas, Jamaica, receive access to medical services, health screenings, and educational workshops as part of the Help Jamaica Medical Mission’s (HELPJAMM) first health fair in the parish. The event, which took place at the St. Thomas High School, allowed residents to receive medical check-ups, receive vaccinations, and access health information on various health issues. Additionally, educational workshops were provided on topics such as nutrition and mental health.
The HELPJAMM organization has been working to improve the health and well-being of Jamaican communities. By providing access to medical services and health screenings, the organization aims to promote a healthier lifestyle and provide support for those in need.
The success of the first health fair has set the stage for the second event, which is scheduled to take place in September. The organization hopes to continue its mission of providing medical services and promoting health awareness in Jamaican communities.
